Gujarati Association of Middle Tennessee (GAMT) 23-24
Gujrati Association of Middle Tennessee is a non profit organization to conduct cultural events associated with Gujarat, India in the region of Middle Tennessee. Each year’s management committee consists of about 15-20 adults and 2-5 youth coordinators. The committee plans, organizes, fund raises and executes about 8 to 10 events through out the year. There are about 1500-3000 participants in a single day event that comes and celebrates these cultural event together.
I am selected as one of the 5 youth coordinators for the year of 2023-2024. I am mainly involved in organizing, helping in venue search, arranging food, effectively advocating youth activities and youth events within GAMT. I am also actively involved in helping at cultural events and food drive’s organized by GAMT.
