Archuity Architect, is a Architecture firm licensed to work on projects in the Stateof Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. They are into both family homes and commercialbuildings. After sending about 30 plus emails to various Architecture andEngineering firms around the Nashville metro area I got two interviews and waslucky to be selected for both. Since Archuity timings and distance worked betterwith my summer schedule I chose to work with them.

This was not only my first experience working for a professional company butworking outside of home and school. I was mainly responsible for editing drawingson AUTOCAD and transfer hand written notes from the site visit into their system.Arcguity being a small firm with about 4-10 employees, i had some greatopportunities to be able to shadow actual site visits and client meetings withthem on ongoing projects. My time here taught me many things but the one thingthat will stay with me is to putting focused time and dedication in the work I do.There’s always a first time for everything in learning new things and it's okay tonot know it all as long as one is able to put in the effort, time and have thewillingness to work hard is my take home experience from my time with Archuity.
