National Awards

  • Congressional Silver Medal – 2023

    (This award is the United States Congress’ top honor for students who strive to build lifelong habits and traits. For the silver medal, students must work under an advisor to set and achieve goals in personal development, voluntary public service, and physical fitness, devoting over 200 to 400 hours for about 12 to 24 months. Additionally, students must plan and execute a cultural expedition or exploration, and provide a very detailed write-up to express their experience in all four categories. For each area, a validator must certify the student’s hours and achievements for authenticity and accuracy.)

    (This is a prestigious award given to the best robot build from design and engineering perspective in the entire state of Tennessee)

Regional Awards

  • Tournament Champions Award – LCA High School.
    Presented to the team that makes it through the single elimination bracket without losing.
  • Excellence Award – LCA High School Fall high school Robotics Tournament
    The Excellence Award is the highest award presented in the VEX Robotics competition; this award exemplifies overall excellence in building a high-quality robotics program.
  • Robot Skills Champion Award .
    Presented to the team with the highest combined Programming Skills Challenge and Driving Skills Challenge score. Here, teams have to score points on their own accord in one minute.
  • Judges Award – Heritage High VEX VRC Tournament.
    Judges recognized displays of special attributes, exemplary effort, and perseverance at the event, or team accomplishments throughout the season that are deserving of special recognition.
  • Tournament Champions Award – Heritage High VEX VRC Tournament.
    The Tournament Champions Award is presented to each allied team in the finals match that wins the round of 16 brackets. i.e the overall turnout winners.
  • Robot Skills Champions – Robertson County VRC Tournament.
    Presented to the team with the highest combined Programming Skills Challenge and Driving Skills Challenge score. Here, teams have to score points on their own accord in one minute.
  • States Qualification Award (State). This award is presented to teams that qualify for the State Championship by winning the Tournament champion or Excellence Award. Technically we have double-Qualified for the State championship as we have won 2 Tournament champion awards thus far.
  • Octafinalist – Debate National Competition – University of Kentucky.
  • 1st runner-up – Public Speaking at Global Musical Icon (Virtual International Event)
  • The University of TN Regional – Public Speaking competition. 4th place
  • 1st runner-up in Musical Instruments at Global Icon (GMI 2.0)
  • Outstanding performer at GMI 2.0 and for earning the 1st runner-up prize in the Instrumental category.
