Archuity Architect, is a Architecture firm licensed to work on projects in the State of Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. They are into both family homes and commercial buildings. After sending about 30 plus emails to various Architecture and Engineering firms around the Nashville metro area I got two interviews and was lucky to be selected for both. Since Archuity timings and distance worked better with my summer schedule I chose to work with them.
This was not only my first experience working for a professional company but working outside of home and school. I was mainly responsible for editing drawings on AUTOCAD and transfer hand written notes from the site visit into their system. Arcguity being a small firm with about 4-10 employees, i had some great opportunities to be able to shadow actual site visits and client meetings with them on ongoing projects. My time here taught me many things but the one thing that will stay with me is to putting focused time and dedication in the work I do. There’s always a first time for everything in learning new things and it's okay to not know it all as long as one is able to put in the effort, time and have the willingness to work hard is my take home experience from my time with Archuity.
